The Gruffalo + The Gruffalo’s Child
Not one, but two, award-winning animated films starring the much-loved Gruffalo, based on the best-selling children’s books written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.
The Gruffalo
The tale of a little mouse who outwits a fox, an owl and a snake by telling them about his imaginary friend the Gruffalo, a scary-sounding creature who proves to be far more real than the mouse expects. His eyes are orange, his tongue is black, he has purple prickles all over his back – and the voice of Robbie Coltrane. Also starring Rob Brydon, John Hurt, James Corden, Helena Bonham Carter and Tom Wilkinson.
The Gruffalo’s Child
A visually stunning sequel which chronicles the story of a little Gruffalo who defiantly ignores her father’s warnings not to search for the Big Bad Mouse. After tiptoeing out into the snow, the little Gruffalo meets her new chums Snake, Owl and Fox. But does the massive mouse even exist? I guess we’ll find out. With Rob Brydon, John Hurt, James Corden, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Tom Wilkinson and Shirley Henderson.
